For the last 2 years, I wanted to experiment with glazing and having more control over the effect i wanted to create. Jerry Bennett, my mentor and inspiration, retired and left me without being able to get energized with paperclay.

I am now making tiles.

And i love it. Using highfire body and lowfire glazes, i can have the most vibrant colors. And tiles are so quick to make. I can roll 25 lbs of clay a week and have 40 tiles each time.
